"Home of Dragons" was one of the biggest challenges to face when arranging for DARKNESS, but it may have been one of the most rewarding--it gave an opportunity to deeply study the Chinese style and to recreate it within the best of our ability. We aimed to expand the instrumentation of the original field and battle music while keeping as true as possible to traditional orchestration techniques. The resulting blend of eastern and western solo instruments result in a musical palette that's as mysterious as the dark side of the moon.
